Why use floral water?

A floral water, also called hydrolat, is the water that evaporates when essential oils are produced by distillation of plants. Floral waters are therefore water with traces of essential oils. They are multifunctional for all skin types, even when used alone:

- They protect the skin from the drying effects of hard, chlorinated tap water: with a soothing spritz after cleaning with water or instead of rinsing with the tap.

- And it's 2 in 1! Softening, soothing, astringent, regenerating, illuminating...: each floral water has specific qualities. Problem skin, prone to acne or eczema, lacking radiance, particularly appreciate them. Chamomile or Orange Blossom soothe irritations, organic Rose floral water has an anti-aging action and a healthy glow effect... Some flowers do not give or give very little essential oils: thank you to the floral water to allow our mixed to oily skins to benefit from the purifying and astringent Witch Hazel, to decongest and tone up the contour of our eyes thanks to Cornflower floral water!

- Floral waters allow you to benefit from the advantages ofaromatherapy when essential oils are forbidden: during pregnancy or for babies, in particular. Think of softening or soothing floral waters in your bath water.

When to use a floral water ?

Floral waters are multi-functional and very practical to use. On a reusable wipe, with your fingers or in a spray, you can apply them at any time of the day without any limitation and without rinsing.

In the morning to moisturize and decongest, as a care lotion to wake up the epidermis and prepare it to receive your care.

In the evening, to perfect the make-up removal and the cleaning of the face carried out with milk or water and to calm the redness

Or for a refreshing boost in the middle of the working day, as a soothing treatment after a walk in the sun, as an after-shave lotion... Floral waters can be used to replace water for rinsing or as an aqueous phase in your home cosmetics: they are non-calcareous and even anti-calcareous and have 1001 benefits. In short, the use of your floral water is only limited by your imagination!
